Lost judgment squirrel
Same with the eSports club, which I wished branched out into the other arcade games or something. I did the photography one and loved all 10 minutes of it and was shocked when it was already over. I liked most of the school stories, but the ones I liked most felt like the shortest ones. At first I was a bit disappointed that the friendship system was gone, but once the school stories got going I forgot it was ever a thing. I loved the side stuff in this game though. If by some miracle there is a 3rd Judgment game, I'd want to see more of a resolution to that stuff. Not to say there weren't great moments in this one though: Sawa and Kuwana's arc in particular Kaito, Sugiura, Higashi are still wonderful too.I wasn't a huge fan of (ENDING SPOILERS!!!) Kuwana escaping, but I guess him revealing the rest of the bodies was at least a mea culpa in some way. But I would agree that the main story was a bit better in the first game and I felt more invested in the characters overall.
#Lost judgment squirrel plus
I'm tempted to say this one for the sake of it having 2 cities to explore because that's always a big plus for me in these games. Having just played the first game earlier this year, I'm still torn on which I like better. I also have a couple of DLC girlfriends I haven't finished the side cases for, but I did all the ones in the base game.
#Lost judgment squirrel full
Don't think I'm gonna go back for the full 100% but I at least have enough SP to unlock the last couple skills I'm missing and I'll probably spend some more time on achievement hunting.
I haven't played Like a Dragon yet so this was my first exposure to it and it just gives off the impression of being really unnecessarily big Also I just think I really don't like Ijincho as much as Kamurocho. I'm still kind of sad we never visit the school at nighttime as part of the main story because I just loved the atmosphere of walking around the dark school at night. On the other hand I definitely agree the first Judgment does a much better job of using its locations and just overall has a lot more "iconic" scenes. Lost Judgment is a lot better about that, where all the reasoning Yagami does is based on evidence or statements from other characters, or at least the leaps in logic aren't nearly as big as they were in the first game.
It made the scene later when he confronts Shono like "I'm going to expose everything!" really funny to me because at that point Yagami still doesn't actually know what's going on and it's a completely baseless accusation. Specifically, maybe my least favorite part of the first game's story was the part about halfway through where the gang gets together in Yagami's office and Yagami makes a bunch of wild, baseless speculation about the game's plot that all just turns out to be right in the end.
